Discount Tickets for Counting Crows and Daughtry Shows at the BMO Harris Pavilion
Summerfest announced today special discounts for the upcoming Counting Crows and Daughtry concerts at the new BMO Harris Pavilion on the Summerfest grounds.
Counting Crows
Counting Crows will be at the BMO Harris Pavilion on Wednesday, July 25. Through 10 p.m. Saturday, reserved bleacher seats for Counting Crows are Buy One Get One Free. The cost for two tickets in this section is $48.40, which includes all Ticketmaster fees. If you price out reserved bleacher seats individually, the cost is $55.30, which means the “Buy One Get One Free” tickets are actually even less than half-price.
Daughtry
American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry and his band will be at the BMO Harris Pavilion on Monday, August 6. Save over $22 per ticket by purchasing now. The discounted price for Daughtry tickets is $29.80 including fees for reserved bleacher seats. The regular price for these seats is $52.25. Tickets to the Daughtry show include parking.
If you live or work close to the Summerfest grounds, you can avoid the Ticketmaster convenience fee by visiting the Summerfest box office.
Summerfest Free Admission Promotions 2012
As is the case every year, Summerfest is giving patrons plenty of opportunities to get in free this year. There are Summerfest free admission promotions every day of the festival. If you’re planning on visiting Milwaukee’s premier summer event, it pays to plan ahead to save money on admission (which means more money available for the imporant stuff - food and drinks!).

Summerfest Admission Prices
If you aren’t able to take advantage of a Summerfest free admission promotion, summerfest tickets can be purchased at the gate, or online with no service fees. Regular admission prices to Summerfest 2012 are as follows:
- Adult Weekday Admission Ticket (Tuesday - Friday noon - 4 p.m.) - $9
- Adult General Admission Ticket (valid any time) - $16
- Seniors (over age 60) - $4 at all times
- Children (ages 3-10 when accompanied by an adult) - $4 at all times
- Children (2 and under) - Free
If you’re planning to visit Summerfest three times, you can save $12 off night and weekend rates by purchasing a three day pass for $36.
Summerfest Free Admission Promotions 2012
The best way to get into Summerfest is for FREE! According to Summerfest.com, the following promotions allow you to get free or discounted admission to Summerfest. (All exchanges, unless otherwise stated, will take place at the Mid-Gate Promotions Booth located across the street from the Summerfest Mid-Gate, at Harbor Drive and Chicago Street.)
Wednesday, June 27 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Johnson Controls Stomp Out Hunger Day with FOX 6
All patrons arriving between Noon and 3 p.m. who donate three non-perishable food items will receive one free admission ticket. Donations will be accepted at the Mid-Gate promotions tent as well as the North Gate. All donations to benefit the Hunger Task Force.
Thursday, June 28 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Klement’s Sausage Day
The first 1,500 patrons presenting a Klement’s product label (8oz or larger) and a non-perishable food item will receive one free admission ticket.
Friday, June 29 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Miller High Life – Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life
The first 2,000 patrons, 21 and older, who bring six Miller High Life or Miller High Life Light bottle caps will receive one free admission ticket.
Saturday, June 30 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Goodwill Industries Day
The first 1,500 patrons who make a donation to a Goodwill Store & Donation Center between June 1 - 30 and bring in their original donation receipt will receive one free admission ticket. One admission ticket per person for each donation receipt.
Sunday, July 1 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Kohl’s Family Day
The first 1,500 patrons who donate three non-perishable food items for kids will receive one free admission ticket. Suggested items include peanut butter, canned fruit and macaroni and cheese. All donations to benefit Hunger Task Force.
Tuesday, July 3 - Noon to 3 p.m. - H.O.G. Day at Summerfest
Receive one free admission ticket when presenting a valid H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) card. One admission per card.
Wednesday, July 4 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Show Your Smile Day
All patrons that present the coupon found in the Sunday, July 1 edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will receive free Summerfest admission with the purchase of a Summerfest admission ($9) between Noon and 3 p.m.
Thursday, July 5 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Sentry Foods and Dean’s Milk & Ice Cream Children’s Fest Day with Today’s TMJ4
All patrons arriving between Noon and 3 p.m. will be admitted free. Select food vendors will offer discounts on food & beverage items.
Friday, July 6 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Malt-o-Meal Day
The first 1,500 patrons will receive one free admission ticket when presenting an original receipt from any Wisconsin grocer that specifies the purchase of any two Malt-O-Meal Bag Cereals 10 oz. or larger. Receipt must be dated between June 27 and July 6, 2012.
Saturday, July 7 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Northwestern Mutual “Make a Child Smile Day”
The first 1,500 patrons who donate any new, indoor children’s toy, art supplies or children’s G or PG rated DVD movie with a $10 minimum value will receive one free admission ticket. All items collected will be used throughout the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin system. (All items must be new with original tags attached and/or original packaging).
Sunday, July 8 - Noon to 3 p.m. - Summerfest Fan Appreciation Day
All patrons attending Summerfest on the final Sunday between Noon and 3 p.m. will receive free admission compliments of Summerfest!

Lakeshore Chinooks Summerfest Ticket Giveaway - Friday, June 29
The Lakeshore Chinooks take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, June 29, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free Summerfest ticket!
The Chinooks are a newly formed baseball team owned by a group of individuals including Bob Uecker and Robin Yount. The Chinooks play in the Northwoods League, taking on opponents such as the Wisconsin Woodchucks, the Madison Mallards, and the Green Bay Bullfrogs. The Chinooks home field is newly constructed Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon.
