Half-Price Admission to the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear on Wednesday

The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear is celebrating the 100th anniversary of their late founder’s birth by offering half-price admission on Wednesday, July 17.

Admission on Founder’s Day is $2.50 for adults and $2 for seniors and students from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The museum opened to the public about a year ago and houses Avrum Chudnow’s collection of 1920’s and 30’s Milwaukee-themed memorabilia. The museum features several exhibits in the style of turn-of-the-century Milwaukee. Exhibits include a grocery store, train depot, speakeasy, and theater. Avrum Chudnow was a local business leader, attorney and philanthropist.

Free Admission to the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear this Weekend

Milwaukee’s newest museum, the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear, is opening its doors for free to visitors this weekend. The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear opened to the public about a month ago and houses 1920’s and 30’s Milwaukee memorabilia collected by the late Avrum Chudnow. Chudnow was a local business leader, attorney and philanthropist.

The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear features several themed exhibits in the style of turn-of-the-century Milwaukee. Exhibits include:

  • H. Grafman Grocery Store
  • Union Train Depot
  • Speakeasy
  • Saxe Brothers Movie Palace
  • and more…

Chudnow Museum Grand Opening Celebration

The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear will celebrate its grand opening on August 18 and 19 by offering free admission to visitors.  Planned events include games and activities, a screening of The Untouchables on Saturday (reservations required), and free floats made with Sprecher Root Beer.
